‘Siân and I had a conversation about our professional future in which we wondered together about what our aspirations might look like if they had skin on them. And not just our skin – we wanted to co-create these aspirations with like-minded others.
However, we didn’t know if it was even possible to act like the celebrant at a marriage between idealism and commercial reality. And wondered apprehensively whether anyone in the coaching sector has ever tried. But we had some guiding lights. Some might even have called them ‘principles’, but that word felt a little set in stone. ‘Guiding Lights’ allowed for wiggle room and evolution, both of which appeared to be important as we thought about our future.’
