reflective partnering

For coaches seeking a different kind of supervision

Some coaches are looking for something a little different from traditional supervision. Whether it’s in a group or on a one-to-one basis, they want to explore what happens when human beings meet each other as whole, authentic beings.

Most of these coaches aren’t seeking simply to take part in a framework-based conversation. Some of them are even redefining much of what they thought coaching was about.

They want to set the ball rolling and see what emerges.

Reflective partnering is an invitation to become curious about our experience: how we make meaning, what we notice, what we overlook, and what might be emerging beyond our familiar ways of understanding ourselves and others. Drawing on phenomenology, relational inquiry, and an appreciation of the provisional nature of everything we think we know, we explore coaching together as something that happens between people, rather than something one person does to another.

And that asks something of both of us. To be real with each other. About what we feel as well as what we think; what we doubt as well as what we hold to be true.

All group and individual sessions are carried out on a pay what you feel is right for you basis. Whilst many sessions are online, we do try to meet in person where geography and common sense permit.
